Course Description

This course introduces students to representations of care and memory in contemporary French cultural productions. We will investigate the ways in which authors and filmmakers engage with and respond to personal, social, and cultural upheavals through narratives of social care, self-care, and environmental care within the broader framework of care studies and memory studies.
