Welcome to ClassConvo.com (the "Service"), operated by Vertolini, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ClassConvo is a platform that allows college and university students to share and read reviews of academic courses. The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To submit reviews, you must create an account and verify your email address. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

4. User Content

4.1 Your Reviews

You retain ownership of the content you submit (reviews, ratings, comments). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree that your content will not:

  • Contain false, misleading, or defamatory statements
  • Include personal attacks, harassment, or threats against any individual
  • Reveal private information about instructors, students, or others
  • Contain spam, advertising, or promotional content
  • Include obscene, offensive, or inappropriate language
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  • Be submitted by automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.)

4.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so. The presence of content on the Service does not constitute our endorsement of that content.

You agree not to:

  • User reviews are truthful, accurate, or representative of actual course experiences
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

Course reviews represent individual opinions and experiences. Academic decisions should not be based solely on information found on this Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERTOLINI, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or computer damage
  • Any damages resulting from user content or conduct
  • Any matter beyond our reasonable control

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vertolini, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to:

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
