Integration of the scientific foundations and clinical abilities necessary to provide immediate and emergency care as an athletic trainer. Focus on development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in critical patient care scenarios. Includes certifications in Emergency Cardiac Care (CCC). This course may not be listed as a requirement or eligible as an elective for any major, minor, or certificate program other than the following: Athletic Training (MS).
