Overview of the profession of music education as an integrative broad practice, and emphasizes critical pedagogy within the field. Promotes readiness, a better understanding of certification, and continued best practices within the professional field of music education, including resume building, interview practice, and online professional presentation of your present music teaching practices and skills. Must be available for a daily morning practicum block in the local public schools. Available for undergraduate credit as MUED 388. This course may not be listed as a requirement or eligible as an elective for any major, minor, or certificate program other than the following: Master of Music Education (MME).
