Introduces students to the literature of the Old Testament (a.k.a. Jewish Scriptures, Tanakh, or Hebrew Bible), with an emphasis upon the application of multiple disciplinary approaches in the work of interpretation. No prior knowledge of the Bible or any religion is assumed or necessary for success in this class.
