Exposure to the theory and practice of controlled aerobic decomposition. Explore various methods of composting different types of waste materials. Learn lab techniques for compost testing. Tour of large and small composting facilities. May not earn credit in both WSTE 486 and SOIL 486. Available for graduate credit as WSTE 686.
