Course Description

Introduces advanced topics in programmable logic control including specialized input/output using sensors and actuators, network communications and device interfacing, closed-loop feedback, and the human-machine interface. In addition to continuing development of ladder logic methods, this course introduces function block diagram, structured text, and sequential function chart programming techniques. Prerequisites: EGRT 240 and EGR 242.
