Course Description

Short stories from both Spain and Latin America are read and analyzed. Literary production of the 19th and 20th centuries is emphasized. Writers may include Lillo, Dario, Becquer, Quiroga, Pardo Bazan, Cortazar, Garcia Marquez, Castellanos, Borges, among others. Prerequisite: SPANISH 312 or 310, and SPANISH 300, 301 or 311. Special course fees may apply.
