MATH 213: Transformations, Probability and Data for Teaching
Course Description
Exploring, conjecturing, communicating and reasoning within the content domains of transformational geometry, probability, and data analysis. This course uses activities and experiments to develop ideas about transformations of the plane including rigid motions and dilations, similarity in 1, 2 and 3 dimensions; analyzing and reporting single variable data; probability, and simulation. Prerequisite: MATH 110 with a grade of C or better and either completion of MATH 211 with a grade of C or better or concurrent enrollment in MATH 211. Special course fees may apply.
