MATH 334: Hyperbolic Geometry

Course Description

This course will survey the history of non-Euclidean geometry and develop the basic properties of hyperbolic geometry. A consistency model will be constructed in the Euclidean plane and hyperbolic trigonometry developed by the use of this model. Prerequisite: MATH 331 with a grade of C or better.
