MUSC 155: Class Piano for Nonmajors (XC)

Course Description

Class Piano for Nonmajors is designed for non-music majors with limited or no musical background. It will introduce students to basic concepts that include: notation, transposition, musicianship, keyboard geography, harmonization, transposition, playing by ear and improvisation, as well as keyboard theory, technique, ensemble and solo repertoire. Special course fees may apply.
