ANPR 206: Accel Health Assessment Theory

Course Description

This course focuses on the skills needed to complete a systematic health assessment of the child and adult client.  Assessment of cultural differences and developmental stages of the individual is included. Therapeutic communication and interviewing skills are used to obtain a health history.  Family assessment and nursing process are introduced.  Prerequisites: Acceptance into the Accelerated Program and successful completion of previous program courses or instructor consent.
