Application of engineering and biological principles in bioprocess systems design; design and scale up of upstream and downstream unit operations including bioreactors, sedimentation, centrifugation, membraned filtration, adsorption and produce formulation; bioprocess integration, scale up and sustainability assessment.Prerequisites:Grade of C or better inBAEN 302andBAEN 365; grade of C or better inBAEN 320or concurrent enrollment.
