5 Lab Hours.Study and understanding of modern dance concepts; lateral curve, contraction, spiral, high curve, high release, rotation versus parallel, body alignment, moving in and out of the floor, fluidity of phrase work, musicality and kinesthetic awareness. May be taken 3 times for credit.Prerequisites:Dance science majors, dance concentration majors and dance minors; or approval of instructor.
