3 Lab Hours.Advanced study of street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture; styles may include breaking, locking, and popping; advanced steps, concepts, and techniques used to enhance motor and rhythmical skills; study of the current culture of hip hop dance and its social impact.Prerequisites:Grade of B or better inDCED 297or approval of instructor.
