1 Lecture Hour.Introduction to financial markets and the instruments that trade in them; describes how financial markets operate; compare and contrast a wide variety of common financial instruments, including debt, equity, derivatives and commodities; basic functions of real-world data sources (especially Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal); and career paths in the field of finance.Prerequisite:Freshman or sophomore classification in business.
