3 Lecture Hours.Development of advanced fluency in oral communication skills in Spanish within the context of the medical professions through discussion of health issues pertaining to the Latino/Hispanic community; field trips, service learning, volunteering, interviews, impromptu speaking and formal presentations.Prerequisite:SPAN 218, 3 credits of 300-level Spanish, or approval of instructor.
