Course Description

Lectures on the fundamentals of painting along with work in the studio. Basic ideas of structure, composition, and color are explored through individual and group instruction. Students work from still-life and from the model. This is a broad introductory painting course designed for the student unfamiliar with fundamentals of design and color. Material: acrylics. (F, W).
