BENG 200: Anatomy and Physiology for Engineers
Course Description
This course introduces undergraduate students in bioengineering to basic concepts in anatomy and physiology. Topics include cell, tissue, nervous, skeletal and muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, endocrine, and urinary systems. Engineering analyses and principles will be used to describe the systems as applicable. Lab sections will be conducted for relevant selected systems. Performance will be assessed based on examinations and laboratory reports. Upon completion of this course, students will have the basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to bioengineering.
