Course Description

Honors Program introductory composition course. Fulfills the Composition I requirement for students in the Honors Program. Course focuses on college-level expository writing techniques through seminar-type analysis of texts read in the Honors Program and through individualized and group writing workshops. Assignments include at least five finished papers incorporating revision. Honors students, like other students in first-semester composition, must pass the standard exit exam forCOMP 105to continue on toCOMP 220(orCOMP 106). (F).
