Course Description

This course will introduce students to key concepts in LGBTQ+ health, including LGBTQ+ health disparities, LGBTQ+ health promotion, and LGBTQ+ health equity. Students will learn about the concepts, theories, and frameworks underlying LGBTQ+ health disparities, promotion, and equity. This course will provide building blocks for critical analysis of existing LGBTQ+ health research and interventions while centering strategies for advancing LGBTQ+ health equity where we live, work, and play. The course will rely on case studies, text examples and discussion. (F, W, S).
