PSYC 441: Intro to Clinical Psychology

Course Description

Introduction to the typical activities of practicing clinical and counseling psychologists. Topics include a) professional issues such as ethical principles and training models, b) considerations in diagnosis and assessment including commonly used instruments, and c) an overview of influential theories of psychotherapy.
