TCH ED 265: Field Experience: Urban Teaching

Course Description

Students will spend 60 hours in urban schools working with diverse student populations, grades PK-12. Students will explore effective techniques for facilitating positive classroom communities, building relationships with students and responding to student’s diverse needs. Reflection and discussion of clinical experiences will occur during the course seminar. Students will keep a reflective journal of their experiences working with diverse learners.
