Course Description

This course introduces the chemistry of the elements, including atomic and molecular structure, acids and bases, the chemistry of the solid state, and main group and transition metal chemistry. Three hours of lecture per week. Students may not receive credit for bothCHEM 4412andCHEM 5412.
