Course Description

This course is designed to acquaint students with concepts and methods in biophysical chemistry. Topics that will be discussed include protein and DNA structures, forces involved in protein folding and conformational stability, protein-DNA interactions, methods for characterization and separation of macromolecules, and biological spectroscopy. Students may not receive credit for bothCHEM 4772andCHEM 5772.
