CNS ED 6860: Human Sexuality in Counseling

Course Description

This course focuses on integrating issues of human sexuality into the counseling process. The psycho-sexual development of the individual from birth throughout the lifespan is discussed and compared to other developmental tasks at each age. This course covers themes related to influences from family, culture, environment, socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious perceptions of sexuality and relationship orientation.
