Course Description

This course explores mathematical theory and scientific inquiry necessary to design and implement early childhood mathematics and science instruction for children birth to age eight. Teacher candidates use theory and practice to design and implement early childhood mathematics and science instruction for children who are diverse with respect to culture, language, and ability. Additional clinical experience may be required.
