EAP 1012: Language Skills for Academic Success

Course Description

Designed for the student who is a non-native speaker of English to enhance academic language skills needed for the American university. This course includes readings and lectures from various disciplines, strategies for effective listening comprehension and note-taking, vocabulary building exercises, exam preparation, and participation in class discussions. This course may count towards elective credit in the Colleges of Business and Arts and Sciences.
