Course Description

This course prepares students forENGL 1100orENGL 1110. Activities targeting writing skills include the organization of essays, rhetorical forms and their structural organization, revision of ideas, research techniques, grammar use and editing. To develop reading skills, students read articles and a novel, practice reading strategies and learn how to summarize articles. This course may count towards elective credit in the Colleges of Business and Arts and Sciences.
