Course Description

This course establishes the critical role of Linux and Windows server environments in contemporary Information Technology (IT) infrastructure management. Students will explore both the technical and management aspects of server infrastructure. Technical aspects include installation, operation, maintenance, virtualization, and systems security. Management aspects include server lifecycles and management of server environments at scale using automation and configuration management tools within the context of application development, security operations, and IT operations. Credit cannot be granted for bothINFSYS 3820andINFSYS 6820.
