MATH 5480: Remote Sensing Digital Image Analysis

MATH Department University of Missouri-St Louis 3.0 credits

Course Description

This course covers commonly-used techniques for remote sensing digital images. Specifically, it covers remote sensing image pre-processing techniques, including radiometric normalization and geometric correction, manipulating satellite data with different formats, image classification, and land use change detection. This course focuses on core mathematical principles, with only a secondary look at implementation. Credit cannot be earned for bothMATH 4480andMATH 5480.
