Course Description

This course allows students to engage in and develop skills in the basic principles of the Orff Schulwerk approach. Concepts introduced may include arranging and composing pieces using ostinato and pentatonic scales, exploring and developing creative movement vocabulary and technique, and use of the soprano recorder as a mobile melodic instrument.
