MUS ED 5573: Orff Schulwerk Workshop, Level 3 (Certification Course)

Course Description

This course provides continued development in the Orff Schulwerk approach. Concepts introduced may include arranging and composing pieces using polymeters and functional harmony, continued development of creative movement vocabulary and technique using uneven steps and asymmetrical meters in dance, and the use of the full range of recorders (sopranino through bass) as a classroom teaching technique as well as developing skills as a participant of a recorder consort.
