NURSE 3025: Community-Based Clinical Education I

Course Description

This introductory seminar course provides the students with a basic understanding of how to apply community engagement principles in community-based health settings. Students in this course will be expected to successfully complete 5 hours of an in-person service experience, guided through the creation and delivery of a health promotion presentation for older adults, as well as participate in self-reflective exercises, and debriefing discussions.
