NURSE 4035: Nursing Care of Children: Infancy to Adolescence

Course Description

This course covers pediatric health promotion and disease management with an emphasis on integration of the concepts of communication and growth and development to provide primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of prevention for children and their families. Nursing care of pediatric patients experiencing acute and chronic illness are examined. Didactic and clinical components are included.
