NURSE 6954: Advanced Practice Nursing: Practicum I

Course Description

This clinical course provides precepted experiences that allow students to continue to develop the nurse practitioner role and clinical competencies within their specific emphasis areas. Students integrate theory and clinical competencies to provide preventative care, health promotion, health education and evidence-based care for acute, chronic and mental health conditions for individuals and families. An on-campus immersive learning experience is required for this course.
