NURSE 6955: Advanced Practice Nursing: Practicum II

Course Description

This clinical course continues precepted experiences that allow students to develop the nurse practitioner role and clinical competencies within their specific emphasis area. Students integrate theory and clinical competencies to provide preventative care, health promotion, health education, and evidence-based care for acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for individuals and families. An on-campus immersive learning experience is required for this course.
