PHIL 5580: Seminar in Philosophy of Science

Course Description

Focus is on recent issues and controversies. Topics may include: theories and observation, models of explaintion, confirmation, realism and antirealism, empiricism & naturalism, "social construction" and feminist views of science. This is a variable content course and may be taken again with the consent of the instructor and the department chair.
