PHYSICS 5350: Intermediate Computational Physics

PHYSICS Department University of Missouri-St Louis 3.0 credits

Course Description

This course explains how to solve physics-based, intermediate-level problems using computational techniques. Mechanics, electrodynamics, and quantum physics problems are solved by (1) numerically solving ordinary and partial differential equations, (2) using Fourier analysis, and (3) solving eigenvalue problems. Students may not receive credit for bothPHYSICS 4350andPHYSICS 5350.
