PSYCH 5468: Seminar: Cognitive and Affective Processes

Course Description

This course is an introduction to classic and contemporary theories, methodologies, and theoretical perspectives used in the field of cognitive and affective psychology. Both basic research and applications of cognitive and affective psychology including the effect of culture are discussed. Special attention is paid to the interaction between cognition and emotion, including cognitive processing of emotional information and various forms of emotion regulation.
