Course Description

Same asFGN LANG 4589. This course is a study of the scope and sequence of the foreign language courses in the school curriculum with emphasis on the selection and organization of materials and methods of instruction and evaluation. The course emphasizes second language acquisition and socio-cultural theories of learning which undergird the approach, examination and analysis of foreign language teaching practices. Attention is also directed toward learning the techniques and research of the scholar in the field of foreign language. To be taken concurrently with Practicum I,SEC ED 4989.
