CLASSICS 342: A Classical Eye on the Modern

Course Description

Classics has been the center of intense debate, especially over the last decade. We will explore the importance of these debates for the way Classics is practiced today as well as for the way it is likely to be shaped as a discipline in the future. The seminar will focus on influential secondary readings supplemented by visiting speakers.
